Youth Basketball of America is an international governing body which promotes
youth basketball worldwide. YBOA is a non-profit organization located in
Orlando, Florida, which offers league development, tournaments, uniforms,
educational clinics, scholarship programs, support materials, merchandise and
insurance programs.
Member organizations receive discounted services on a wide range of items needed
to advance their group's goals. YBOA also hosts three major events in July
including an International Basketball Camp, Boys and Girls National Championship Tournament.
Each team must qualify at a State Qualifier in order to be eligible to attend
the Nationals. Check out our tournament listings to find the qualifiers in your
state. If you cannot find one listed for your state, it may be in the process of
being sanctioned by the National Headquarters. You can contact your Area
Director for more information.
Mission Statement: Youth Basketball of
America, the premier youth membership organization in the sport of basketball,
strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development of youth
athletes while also reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence,
self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the court. Through
participation, YBOA is dedicated to educate and motivate each member while
encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and fun through the spirit of basketball.
